BLACKOUT MATERIAL: the custom motorized vertical blind is made of 3.54" slats blackout fabrics, which can 100% block sunlight. Both sides are the same, which provide UV protection, thermal insulation, and energy-saving. The tiltable slats can beautifully filter natural light by adjusting the angle. SMART MOTOR: durable hardwired plug-in motor, please make sure you have a socket nearby. After connecting to a Wifi signal, the smart motor can directly work with Alexa, Google Home, IFTT, and TuyaSmart App. Simply control it manually during power-cut. The motor is put on the right back side default. You can turn around the whole track rod if you want to put the motor on the left side (the motor will be on the front side then). We will send a 5 channel remote controller for free.
MADE TO ORDER: the Alexa motorized blind is custom made, the max width is 160", and the max height is 120". It is capable of both ceiling mounted and side wall mounted. Please leave at least 1.5” width if you install it close to the wall. The motorized shade can be opened from the left or right side. You can customize the running direction. If the width of your blind is over 98", we will use the extension track (2 tracks connect together). The blind can only open from the middle.

Question:How often do these need to be charged and for how long?
Answer:The vertical blinds need to be plug-in all the time.
Question:I know that they are material I'M asking about how they are attached to holder, sre they cheap breakable plastic cllips?
Answer:The clip is made from solid plastic material.
Question:Do the blinds open away from the motor or towards the motor? If the motor/charging station is on the left, does it open left or right?
Answer:You can send an email to us to customize the vertical blinds open direction. The open direction can be customized. Normally, we will set the open direction the same to the motor side. If the motor is on the left, we will set it open to the left. But we can also set it open to the right if you need.
Question:Is the bead chain at the bottom of the slats required for operation? I prefer the look of the blinds without the bead chain installed.
Answer:The bead chain is not required but it is used to fix the slats or they will wave in the wind.
Question:Will the Tuya smart app tilt or rotate the vertical blinds?
Answer:The tuya app can't tilt the vertical blind but it can open and close the blind.
