Question:what is the difference between the narrow and wide options?
Answer:The depth of wide fabric is 1 cm deeper than narrow one.
Question:The metal bar at the bottom of each blind has a long sliding piece of metal with two plastic pieces to hold it in place. What is this for?
Answer:It is used for adjust the blind balance.
Question:Does it make the room slightly dark or just filters the light? Will it be bright inside or darker when closed?
Answer:When blinds closed, the room will be dark but not blackout. Sheer part can filter the light. We can send you sample for it.
Question:So the only way these blinds will work with google home is that i must also purchase a $200+ hub? is that correct?
Answer:The motorized blinds can be programmed and work great with the BroadLink hub.
Question:Can this be permanently plugged into a power outlet without the hassle of charging?
Answer:Yes, it can be plugged into outlet all the time but it may damage the battery.
