Motor does not retract shade off magnet. Magnet is too strong.

I ordered 2 outdoor wide roller shades, one requiring assembly. The construction is precise and assembly well thought-out. Communication with the liaison helped get exactly the size I needed and it came exact to the millimeter. Communication during the process and shipping was excellent. It was very well packaged and labeled for assembly. Truly custom. Hanging them level was a bit tricky, but there is built-in adjustment for centering and programming. The end result is very professional and functionally tight and robust. The blinds are a good value and I am glad I went with Yoolax. I would buy again and certainly recommend them.

For our new house, we were looking for outside sun screens for our windows since it's getting very hot inside when the sun is shining against the south facing facade. For the first floor, we have bought a local brand, since we found the Yoolax shades later. That was a pity, since the Yoolax shades are in all regards better than the other ones.

In the attached pictures and video, you can see the screens from inside and outside of the house including them being in action. We are extremely pleased with them. The fabric has a very high quality and looks really great. We bought the 3% version and as you can see from the inside, one can still very nicely see the outside but the sun is still kept away. When the screens are down, we cannot even notice any temperature raise in the house anymore.

Although the shades are not really sold or advertised as window shades, they still work very well for windows! The assembly is super easy. We decided to mount them with the metal thread to have them not wiggling in the wind. I like the magnet at the end, since it makes a distinct click, when they are fully down.

We bought the Thread/Matter motor, which allows the blind to include them in pretty much any home automation system. We're using them with the Home Assistant, which automatically lowers and raises them based on the sun light. Additionally, we bought the solar panels, which keeps the shade's batteries always fully charged. I highly recommend that investment. No running behind empty batteries anymore. These screens are literally maintenance free!

One important aspect to mention, they are super silent. I have never heard any sun screen (especially outside ones) that are so silent. This product just has a top quality. We haven't found any flaws yet. Even the delivery to Sweden was super fast and care-free to the door.

The Motorized Outdoor shade came disassembled. I was expecting a ready to install shade for my custom size. Instead it came in 2 boxes with the main roller assembly and header in 2 parts which need to be joined. The fabric also has to be stuck carefully to the roller and then assembled. The whole process requires atleast 2 people with some handyman skills to do the job if you haven't done it before. Could not even find a video of the assembly to help us. Just the instruction sheet which sometimes makes it difficult to be confident about whether you are doing it right.
Also, the charging cable is just USB with no plug included to put in an outlet. Since it is an outdoor shade, plug should be included

Happy with both quality and the installation. I would recommend it.

So far all is good. Assembly was a bit as the instructions while better than most still could use some better pics and steps. Wish the screen came with a built in bead that fit into a groove along the tube like lots of awnings offer. The double-sided tape is not confidence inspiring beyond the difficulties it has during assembly. Now we'll see how it holds up and how long the motor works.

It is what we ask for

I thought, OH BOY, these are going to be complicated to install. But nope! I had them put together, up and running in no time. We love them! That have an integrated solar panel for the motor, that is genius!

We love our shades and they were easy to install and set up.

attaching it to the ceiling took several tries. i used the tape as a guide, but the ceiling mounts couldn't be off by more than 1/16 of an inch... took 3 people, and several attempts

The product met my expectations and the communications was promptly. Highly recommend as the quality is good, shipment was quick, and instructions were easy and clear.

The black remote provided has not worked. The app barely works and only up and down. The other features such as preset height do not function.

Works great, looks great

I ordered two 10 foot outdoor blinds for my sunroom. Once the first one went up, I realized that the second one should be 2 inches smaller to fit properly. Since I added the measure guarantee, which was only $19.99, they are sending me a replacement one for free. So far the one blind that is up looks and works wonderful and the support team is supper responsive and great to work with. Good job Yoolax team.
