Yoolax Motorized Solar Roller Shades

The order process is easy and efficient. Delivery was to time. The product (Matta motor outside blind 101" x 86") itself is as expected and was easy to install. The elements that were not clear are how to install the solar panel on the outside valance and connecting the blind to Alexa and the Yoolax app. The help available through customer service was awful and is the reason for the less than great review. In the end we have had to make up something to securely fit the secure panel. Regarding the connectivity, having spent over £400 on one blind I would expect to be able to connect it to the Yoolax app, you can't. The app should really be able to detect the blind and operate it without any additional purchase for a hub. We have since bought an Agara hub and the blind still won't work through the Yoolax app so on this we're still trying to figure out how to get it to work! Customer service haven't been very helpful at all, it's like they are too busy to really read what your issues are and provide meaningful help. The product would also benefit for something to stop it flapping about in the wind (it basically just hangs free from the valance when down). Such a shame we have had these issues as the blind itself looks good and it was all going so well until it wasn't.

These shades were perfect and exactly what I was looking for. The shipping process was quick. They were easy to install, and look great. Will probably order another set for the other side of the room

The product itself is solid and we have purchased 5 blinds from this company already. However the support is also amazing. Michael in Sales helped me with a warranty issue with a motor that had stopped running. After they had me troubleshoot it myself and send a video of the problem, they quickly sent out a replacement motor. The entire process was painless and it solidified my decision to buy from them. I have so many more windows left to do and I know I will buy as many blinds from Yoolax as possible.

The blinds were easy to install. I wanted to change the roll off direction. I contacted Yoolax and got my response the next day with directions on how to change it on my own. Followed the directions and set my upper and lower limits with little difficulty. I tried to use the Yoolax App to operate the blinds but the app did not automatically find my blinds and I was unable to pair it manually.
All reviews said they were not able to connect to blinds also. I do not have Alexa and do not plan to get it at this time. Mounted my remote next to my thermostat and like the location.
Over all I am very happy with my purchase of these blinds.

Affordable custom smart shades are hard to come by. So glad I gave these a try. The come prepaired to the remote (if you choose at least one remote with your order). I love the solar power add on option.

They were soooo easy to install and fit perfectly. I love that they block enough sun to immediately bring the indoor temperature down by 4-5 degrees but are still sheer enough to not lose our view.

I haven't set up the smart assistant feature on the blinds yet, but did with the door shade which works perfectly.

Will be outfitting my entire house in these!

We ordered 5 total to cover our back windows which even though they have reflective window, they take on direct sunlight which just heat the house. They came quickly, and were a breeze to install. We noticed a difference in the house temperature on the first day! We 100% recommend and would reorder! They were easy to program as well - just followed the step by step directions and I was able to program them to go up and down and stop where I wanted.
We ordered without the valance as we will be building our own custom once we redo our trim. For now they don't bother me as they are pretty discrete when up. They also make minimal noise when going up and down - very quiet.

I was really impressed with the quality of these shades. From the packaging, to the instructions, to the fit and finish of the shades. They even preprogramed them to work with the remote. Setup was flawless. I’ve already showed a friend and he’s going to order some.

Great price, value, quality and service. My window frames required me to drill an additional hole in brackets but this was easy with a cobalt drill bit. I used Milwaukee 3/16 red helix bit for hard metal and bracket was put in vise for stability. The center shade covers a patio door we rarely use, the blind rubs on the handle and slows briefly but doesn’t stop. I’ll probably install a slimmer handle just for looks.
I choose the P440 motor and the remote was pre-programmed to open all 3 simultaneously. There are 16 channels so each can be opened individually but the pre-programming is a group function labeled CC (see pic). There are no instructions for the remote so I hope I never have to reset it.
The pictures were taken in upstate NY on a cloudy day facing west. Solar shades, black, 5% openess. Very happy overall.

We have a full wall of windows and for the last 2 - 3 hours of each day have been blasted by the sun. Not any more!! We were looking for cost effective motorized shades and found these 90% black out. Couldn't be more pleased! Great value, seller is super responsive and shipping was fast. Highly recommend.

I bought 3 grey solar shades to install side by side over a large double sliding door. Once confirmed, the seller shipped it out within 3 days. The shipping took another 2 weeks which is not bad considering we are under global shipment blockage.The shade fabric, the hardware, the valance and the remote are of good quality. The Installation was really straight forward. Took maybe 10 mins per shade. The programming took a bit longer because I was trying to follow the video. DON'T watch the video. Once I find the instruction booklet, the programming is straight forward. I programmed all 3 shades on to the same remote and it was MAGICAL to open and close with a single click. I charged up all 3 shades and plan to charge them about once a month. The USB extension cord is a must buy. But I think any usb extension cord should do.If you butt more than 1 shade together, if both ends have no motors, the gap between the shades is about 0.5 inch. If one end has a motor, the gap increases to ~ 1.5 inch. Make sure you only order and install with the non motor sides together.I checked some other so called US based window treatment stores. They are either Mexican or Chinese made anyway. Why not go straight to the source and save more?Now I feel bougie everyday looking at my beautiful shades and impressing my guests knowing that I didn't spend much at all. I will definitely buy more for the rest of my house.

 I ordered 4 blinds in my first Yoolax order. 1 solar blind and 3 zebra blinds. Delivery was very fast and the blinds were quickly installed. Yes, the instruction manual is not the best. But from order time to installation was about 11 days, not 11 months! There was a problem with one of the blinds and Yoolax quickly resolved the problem by sending me a new blind in about 8 days. I was happy enough with the quality of the product and the excellent service from Yoolax (whom I conversed with on Whatsapp) that I just ordered another 11 blinds from them. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Little expensive but worth every penny.

I've ordered two 90% blackout blinds. They came in as nicely packaged and already programmed for the remote. They were cut to proper length. The material is high quality and blocks 90% of light which is helps to remove light glare from my tv (South side windows). It was easy to install them. Yes, they are little noisy when they are working but the noise does not bother me. Solar panes are not that big but they are visible on the windows and they were very easy to install. Since I am planning to have blids down most of the time the solar panels dont bother me. For past 3 months they work fine. No issues so far.

The box arrived practically destroyed and we sent it back. Yoolax emailed immediately and started working on replacing it. When the next box arrived, with only a small corner bump, opened it and installed it. Set up the remote and it worked great. Connected the Zigbee motor to our Amazon Echo Show but it wouldn't control it. Had to update the firmware on the Echo Show and then reset it, keeping home connections and now they work perfectly together (it was not a problem with the shade.) In the picture what looks like dirt on the shade are actually smudges on the windows (can't clean the new windows or remove stickers until the inspector has signed off.) We can see out to the pool deck but sun doesn't come through the window to heat up the house. At night we can stand on the pool deck and see through the shade when the lights are on in the house. We have this in our dining nook off the kitchen so privacy is not an issue (and we have a privacy fence as this window faces the backyard.) Two year warranty, motor died at 2 years, 7 months old, will not be buying another, expected it to last longer for the price.

Nice shade! Quick shipping too. I got the 90% blackout white which is great for privacy, blocking direct sunlight, but also lets just enough light through to see up the stairs without turning on a light. I would recommend watching a YouTube video on programming if you run into trouble. Very easy to install and set up. It’s so easy to access charging with a 10hr charge good for 3-6 months ,I’m not going to even mess with the solar panel I bought.

I don’t write reviews frequently but these shades are awesome! Perfect customer service, super fast shipping, easy to install custom shades and affordable price. Well done!
